ZOOOO-BetaCell-Expert-8B v0.6.1 (Research Preview) Release

We have released ZOOOO-BetaCell-Expert-8B v0.6.1, a research-preview model focused on mechanistic reasoning in pancreatic β cell biology.

This version emphasizes causality-first analysis, explicit boundary conditions, and structured mechanistic judgment, moving beyond pathway listing or descriptive summaries. v0.6.1 shows improved consistency in distinguishing correlation from causation and in reasoning about experimental relevance, making it suitable for hypothesis discussion and experimental design review.

Limitations remain: response structure may not always fully converge on complex questions, long-horizon dialogue stability is still limited, and the model should not be used for clinical or production purposes. v0.6.1 represents a stable milestone toward our v1.0 goal of an expert-level scientific reasoning collaborator.
